Now that tax day is behind us, why not vent some of those pent-up frustrations therapeutically, pulling and hacking invasive weeds?
Spring is here in full force and exotic invasive plants are doing their best to take over our community grounds. To counter this onslaught, the Grounds and Landscaping Committee of the Forest Glen HOA is planning a continuation of our annual forest reserve cleanup on Saturday April 19th from 9:30am-12:30pm (weather permitting).
Join us this Saturday for the season's second grounds and forest reserve clean-up. The one we'd scheduled for two weeks ago was postponed due to illness and forecasts of inclement weather. Luckily, this weekend we've been promised a sunny, warm Saturday. We'll also be exploring new plantings to replace dying shrubs in common areas.
Please come--even if just for an hour or two--and discover the natural areas that we own in common. Meet neighbors, beautify our community, and enhance your property value.
When: Saturday morning, April 19 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Where: Meet at the Tot Lot
Bring: Heavy gloves, clippers, shovels, plastic bags, water (or other refreshment) to drink
Wear: Long sleeves and long pants, heavy shoes or thick sneakers, and sunscreen
See you there!
